The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in providing first-line HR advisory services and supporting our managers across various departments.

Duration of Assignment: 12 weeks (with potential extension)

Working Hours: 20 hours per week

Tasks

Offer first-line HR advisory services concerning employee relations.
Assist managers throughout the Council in people management, including attending meetings and offering guidance.
Aid managers with absence management.
Process maternity and paternity requests.
Help in the revision and updating of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
Oversee HR information systems for data input and statistical analysis.

Requirements

Proven experience in HR advisory roles.
Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in HR information systems.
