SEN Maths Teacher Greenwich

A rewarding opportunity has become available for an SEN Maths Teacher at a secondary school in Greenwich. Responsibilities

  • Plan deliver and assess engaging Maths lessons tailored to meet the needs of students with special educational needs
  • Modify and adapt the curriculum to ensure accessibility and inclusivity for all learners
  • Employ a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to different learning styles
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and engagement in mathematical activities
  • Collaborate with the SEN team to create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students
  • Monitor and assess student progress providing feedback and support to help them achieve their goals
  • Participate in schoolwide initiatives to promote inclusivity and celebrate student achievements

Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching Maths preferably to students with special educational needs
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching strategies and differentiation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping students succeed
  • A clear DBS check
  • Legal right to work in the UK
