Our esteemed client a leading secondary school in Reigate Surrey is seeking a highly qualified and dynamic English Teacher to join their renowned English department. This fulltime permanent position offers a stimulating environment for a passionate educator to make a lasting impact on the academic and personal development of students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering inspiring and engaging English lessons that foster a love of literature and language in students of all abilities.
- Designing and implementing innovative lesson plans and assessments that align with the national curriculum and schools educational philosophy.
- Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation critical thinking and creativity.
- Building strong relationships with students parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and effective approach to teaching and learning.
- Participating in departmental meetings and professional development activities to continuously enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in English or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Proven track record of successful teaching experience at the secondary level preferably across KS3/4/5.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Strong passion for English literature and language and a commitment to inspiring students to reach their full potential.
