Our client seeks a highly motivated and energetic German-speaking Business Development Representative to join their team. The BDR will generate new business opportunities by engaging with potential clients and qualifying inbound leads (MQLs) through to opportunities for the sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Book discovery meetings with prospective clients identifying the right personas.
  • Exceed quota by generating new business opportunities by qualifying inbound leads following a defined qualification process.
  • Focus on nurturing MQLs until they convert using sequencing and sending relevant marketing content.
  • Setting yourself tasks to follow up on your prospects for future conversion.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing customers.
  • Proactive attitude to contacting MQLs and following them through to conversion.
  • Research your prospects to create personalised messaging and identify their pain points/current challenges, understanding the customers' needs.
  • Qualify your prospects through cold calls, emailing, LinkedIn and other means.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute targeted campaigns and messaging.
  • Monitor and track leads and opportunities through the sales pipeline, providing regular updates and reports to the sales & marketing teams.
  • Ensure all activity is logged in CRM and track your progress and conversion rates.

What are we looking for?

Essential Skills:

  • German and English speaking
  • Bachelor's degree in law, business or a related field preferred
  • 1-2+ years of experience in legal or sales in a law firm or B2B environment
  • Experience in targeting law firms or large corporations would be highly advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Energetic and hardworking
  • Self-motivated and persistent
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work remotely and collaboratively with team members in different locations and time zones
  • Ability to attend the London office 2-3 times a week
