The Role

6 months contract with local authority

Provide high level legal and propertyrelated advice to Members and senior officers covering property housing and local government law and act for the Council in the progression of complex property matters relating to the Council s land holdings to include without limitation disposals and acquisitions a variety of matters falling within the Housing Acts and the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 the devolution of Council property assets disposals at an undervalue overage provisions and options and the Council s powers relating to the same. There will be a requirement to work under pressure and to tight timescales to support the delivery of the Council s priority capital receipts revenue savings and statutory requirements.

The role is remote working working with odd day in the office
