The Role
As a Computer Science Teacher you will play a pivotal role in fostering students understanding and appreciation of the digital world. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons cultivating a passion for computational thinking and problemsolving skills across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative and challenging lesson plans aligned with the national curriculum and the schools educational vision.
- Foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages curiosity exploration and collaboration.
- Assess student progress through a variety of methods providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and incorporate them into your teaching practice.
- Contribute to the schools broader computing and technology initiatives.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Proven experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level preferably across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages software development and computational concepts.
