Paydens is a familyowned business which seeks to reward and empower its staff Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager your support is vital to the pharmacist in the provision of many different services
You will be part of a hardworking and established team working on the counter and the dispensary you will be involved in developing positive relationships with patients and GP surgeries to ensure that we deliver the most effective customer service in the industry!
Responsibilities & Duties
- Support and assist all members of the pharmacy team
- Dispense prescriptions accurately and professionally within legal and company guidelines
- Ensure the correct storage of the medication including effective stock rotation
- Monitor and check expiry dates on the medication
- Sort and file prescriptions and other relevant paperwork as per the companys Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
- Maintain a clean & tidy environment
- Liaise with GP surgeries and their teams to enable the pharmacy to deliver the highest possible customer service
Qualifications & Skills
Ideally you will hold an NVQ equivalent in Pharmacy Dispensing Services or have experience working in the pharmacy industry however if you dont and you are just starting out not a problem as we will provide the resources you will need to develop and ensure you are given the appropriate training to carry out the job including your NVQ qualifications!
You must have basic IT knowledge and good customer service skills You must also be able to perform well under pressure and work as part of a team
Hours Monday am pm Thursday am pm Friday am pm
Please note the hours above are fixed hours so you must be able to complete these please do not apply if you are unable to do so
