We have growth ambition to double our revenue by 2025. Enabling our teams by delivering innovative technology will be pivotal in reaching that goal.
We are searching for a permanent Head of Engineering to lead our inhouse software development team and help deliver our vision. As the most experienced software development management professional in the business, your primary objective will be to reengineer our software development processes and gradually steer the team towards our vision of continuous delivery of high-quality fit-for-purpose systems on a public cloud first model.
Additionally, as a senior tech leader, you will work closely with the CIO and the other tech team leaders to help continually fine-tune our strategies for practices such as architecture management, project management, availability management, performance and capacity management and service design

Who we re seeking
- You ll comfortably demonstrate a solid career in IT with accumulated breadth and depth of technical knowledge of software development.
- You ll have been the hands-on leader for large engineering teams of 15+ within the context of an agile development process.
- You ll be equally comfortable leading the development of web-based, windows thick-client and mobile apps.
- You ll be well-versed in developing for on-premises and public cloud deployments and are intimately familiar with the typical architectures and considerations for both.
- You understand the value of metrics and can demonstrate how you used these in the past to optimise teams, processes, and systems.
