We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our firm in Manchester. In this role you will work closely with the Team Leader engaging directly with clients to understand their needs. You will be responsible for developing and producing reports specifications and guidance as well as overseeing testing and commissioning activities. Requirements

  • Possess excellent technical expertise in Electrical Design Engineering and a comprehensive understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design throughout all phases of the design process.
  • Have previous consultancy experience recognizing the significance of complementary specialisms such as acoustics fire engineering and computer modeling in building design.
  • Take an autonomous approach capable of leading small to mediumsized projects and effectively managing tasks for larger projects based on briefs from the project lead.
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables and maintain high standards in all outputs.
  • Understand and appreciate client needs demonstrating the ability to engage effectively with clients.
  • Identify when outsourcing is necessary such as for design and CAD work.
  • Recognize and assess resource requirements for projects.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff fostering their professional development.
  • Hold chartered engineer status or be close to achieving it.
  • Guarantee the delivery of quality standards and technical accuracy in all work.
  • Regularly report on cost and resource needs to the team leader.
