About Our Client:
Our client is a historic and vibrant social club. The club is known for its diverse range of activities including entertainment sports weddings and various functions and music gigs.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the bar club or hospitality sector and will work closely with the Bar Manager to support the clubs operations and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily bar operations including opening and closing procedures
Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries during working hours
Address and record issues raised by members and guests for management review
Assist in scheduling staff shifts tracking time sheets and managing holidays
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and that staff are welltrained and knowledgeable about products and pricing
Coordinate bar maintenance including weekly cleaning of lines and organizing bar staffing
Reconcile daily till roll totals in collaboration with the Bar Manager
Assist with stock deliveries inventory checks and storage management
Candidate Requirements:
Flexibility to meet the varying demands of club activities and events
Strong customer service skills and a positive proactive attitude
Experience in staff management and training
Proficiency in bar stock and cellar management
Local residency is advantageous due to key holder responsibilities and occasional cover for staff holidays
