CK Group are recruiting for an Environmental Specialist to join a Chemical company at their sites around Wigan on a permanent basis.

Our client is a world leading manufacturer of polymers and specialist synthetic resins.
Location:
This role is located at our client's site in Standish, but will also cover their other site in Wigan.

- The management and improvement of the company's environmental management system.
- To provide guidance on environmental legislation and internal environmental standards.
- Developing the environmental strategy for the company.
- Continually improve the company's environmental performance.
Your Background:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- A degree level education in environmental sciences or chemical engineering.
- Prior experience in environmental management in chemical manufacturing.
- A broad and in-depth knowledge of environmental legislation, ISO14001, ISO50001 and environmental permits.
