Tasks

Main responsibilities

Assisting with 1st and 2nd line systems support tickets

Helping with building and installing new laptops, desktops and printers

Ensuring that the systems (hardware & software) are running smoothly and any system issues are resolved

Supporting network users

Backing up servers, archiving and restoring jobs from archives

Assisting in providing VPN and remote connectivity

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

Degree in IT/computer related field or equivalent

Experience with Windows 10/11 and knowledge of Microsoft applications, installation of software and printers

Good understanding of TCP/IP and DNS

Proven communication and interpersonal skills

Proven ability to build relationships with staff at all levels of the organisation

Proven organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritize, attention to
detail and accuracy

The ability to manage workload and meet the deadlines

A positive attitude and a friendly, confident, approachable manner

A proactive, optimistic, "can do" attitude, a fast learner and quick to
adapt
