Marketing Assistant

As they are consistently growing, they are now looking for a Marketing Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. This role will be based in Runcorn

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
The Marketing Assistant role provides support to the UKI Marketing team
Duties and Responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant:
Assist in managing the day-to-day communication with third-party partners
Liaise with creative agencies to produce digital assets for websites and apps
Manage and maintain the content on the company websites and mobile apps
Support with regular reporting on digital activity and key websites/apps metrics
Liaise with the web development agency to assist with the ongoing management of website support and maintenance tickets
Assist the marketing team with the planning, creation and execution of multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns
Support the entire marketing function with administrative, invoices, raising purchase orders, approving invoices and creating new vendors
Maintain and disseminate on a timely basis competitor information based on input from Global & Local Marketing teams as well as their own secondary searches
Maintain the UKI Marketing SharePoint site
Upload marketing collateral to Marketing World based on input from the Marketing Team, obsoleting materials as necessary
Any other tasks as required
Skills, Experience and Knowledge Required of the Marketing Assistant:
Project Management experience desired
Excellent Customer Focus
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and deliver results against tight deadlines
Strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills essential
Demonstrates creativity
Highly computer literate, particularly in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent attention to detail.
Organised multi-tasker able to handle many diverse projects at once
A good understanding of the digital marketing ecosystem
Strong, proactive communicator (written and verbal)
Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
A desire to learn and progress a career in marketing
Previous experience in a marketing role would be desirable
Experience working with marketing agencies would be desirable
Experience using Adobe Suite (Photoshop) would be advantageous
