About the role
As an established Solutions Architect you will support the transformation, elevation and scale of our platform Working closely with our software engineering technical leadership to build and develop highly available, accessible & scalable solutions that are secure and optimised beginning with your innovative Proof of concepts through to Delivery .
Whilst the role of Solutions Architect is a new role at Car & Classic our architecture isn't, we have been hosted in AWS cloud from You will be a key contributor to the future success of our infrastructure, and you will be in the perfect position to have an outsized multiplicative impact by helping build the frameworks, structures, and processes that foster an effective engineering organisation with world-class
Detailed Deliverables
- Experience developing architectural blueprints, strategies, and
- System design - proof of concept, prototyping, define the architecture, system modules, interfaces (API), and data for a system to satisfy specified requirements, performance and security
- Communication of ideas and requirements to technical and non-technical audiences
- High-level architecture and component diagrams
- Technical requirements documentation
- Design patterns and best practices
- Security and compliance documentation
- User interface documentation
- Project management documentation - timelines, resource allocation, and roadmaps that outline the high-level approach for delivering the project
- Unification of database architecture
- Contributing to codebase standardization and maintenance
The skills, attributes and experience you must have:
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Knowledge of systems architecture and network technologies
- Strong understanding of security practices
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Modern web/app development with component-based libraries
- Linux, web application deployment and maintenance
- Web service development (RESTful/GraphQL)
- Knowledge of Docker Engine and container orchestration platforms
- Awareness of security and performance optimization in web development
- Experience with microservices, service-oriented, or event-driven architecture models
The skills, attributes and experience nice to have:
- OOP, SOLID principles, and PHP coding standards
- Expertise in MySQL (InnoDB tables, transactions, triggers, views, foreign keys, subqueries, indexes optimization)
- Expertise in Laravel version 8 or above
- Experience with microservices in large platforms/marketplaces
- ITIL V4 Practitioner
- AWS Solutions Architecture | Professional Certification
